May we bring in our own decorations?
Yes. You are welcome to provide your own centerpieces or decorations, provided that they are in compliance with local fire codes. Confetti and glitter are not allowed in The Silo. The use of nails anywhere or tape on painted surfaces is not allowed.

When can we decorate for our event?
The Silo offers plenty of time to decorate at no additional charge. Make arrangements with your event coordinator.

May we have our wedding ceremony at The Silo?
Yes! We would be able to host your ceremony along with your reception. Future outdoor site available. Set up fees do apply.

How should we plan for the timing of our reception?
Your event start time will be prearranged with our event coordinators. At that time we will be ready to receive guests. Those that may arrive earlier may be asked to wait to enter until that start time. The service of the meal will be based upon the scheduled arrival time of the wedding party. It is important to schedule this as accurately as possible in order that the food will be served at it’s highest quality. In the event that the wedding party is running behind, food service delays past 30 minutes will have a service fee of 10% of total food charges added .

What is your smoking policy?
The Silo is a smoke free building. Smoking is allowed on the outside balcony.

When is my guest count and final payment due?
Your guaranteed attendance count is required 3 days prior to your event. Fifty percent of your estimated payment will be due 60 days before your scheduled event. The full balance will be due 24 hours prior to the day of your event. Additional charges that may be incurred during the banquet will be due immediately the evening of.

Are children included in our guest count?
Yes. Your final count should be based upon the number of seats that you will need to accommodate your guests. Special children’s menus can be made in advance with our staff if needed.

What Methods of payment do we except?
The Silo will accept cash, personal or certified check.

Am I required to use a specific DJ, Photographer, etc.?
No. The Silo welcomes all wedding service providers. Our event coordinators will be able to suggest service providers that may be needed.

May we bring in our own food and beverage?
No. The silos’ license to provide food service prohibits us from allowing any food brought into our facility. Our liquor license also prohibits us from allowing you to bring in alcohol of any kind to be consumed on the premises. Any type of candy or nuts used as party favors must be individually wrapped. Wedding cakes are the only exception, which you can bring in. Be sure to set up a delivery time with your event coordinator.

Can We take home leftover food?
No. The Silo license to provide food services prohibits all left over food that is prepared on the premises to leave the building, with the exception of the wedding cake.

How long will the buffet service last?
We will provide a beautifully presented meal for you guests for as long as they continue to eat. There is plenty of time for seconds and thirds if they wish.

What is six hours is not enough time?
Additional time is available at the rate of $200.00 per hour. Please inform management at least 1/2 hour before your scheduled end time. The bar service will end 1/2 hour before the original scheduled end time.
